PRESS RELEASE: Max Flow Exhaust Brake

April 1, 2008

Specially Designed for 1994-2002 Dodge Cummins

BLAINE, WA – Owners of 1994-2002 Dodge trucks equipped with HX/HY35 turbo engines will stop – literally – in their tracks when they discover the new Max Flow PRXB Exhaust Brakes – designed just for them. Building on all of the benefits of the PRXB, the Max Flow features a unique cast housing that facilitates the fastest escape of waste gases on the market. This means more horsepower, more torque and lower EGTs (exhaust gas temperatures).

All Pacbrake patented PRXB designs, including the new Max Flow, deliver the strongest braking horsepower, greatest speed reductions and shortest stopping distances possible without the use of service brakes. It maintains optimum retarding performance by maximizing the exhaust brake that requires high RPMs to work effectively, the PRXB delivers constant exhaust backpressure (braking) as early as 1200 RPM through to the maximum allowable RPM.

The brake mounts directly to the turbocharger outlet with a 5-bolt flange in the DirectMount design, thereby eliminating the restrictive factory flange. This enables the turbocharger to spool up faster, decreasing turbo lag and, in turn, increasing horsepower and torque while lowering EGTs.

The Max Flow PRXB Exhaust Brake kit comes with the 4″ Max Flow designed PRXB Exhaust Brake, air compressor, air tank, curly hose and accessories… also great for filling tires. Exhaust pipe adapters are available to fit factory and all larger aftermarket exhaust systems. The exhaust brake’s suggested retail is $1325 and is available through Pacbrake’s network of dealers in the U.S. and Canada.
